Seasonal book basket: Winter

Posted on

I’ve been looking forward to getting the Winter book collection out – they have to be my favourite!

Here are some of the books in our Winter book collection:

It seems the best season for snuggling indoors with T and reading a Winter story whilst keeping warm indoors.

I really love the illustrations in Shirley Hughes’ book – ‘Lucy and Tom’s Christmas’ – but then I love all of Shirley Hughes’ books.

  2. a great idea to have specific winter/christmas books. I always read ‘A Child’s Christmas in Wales’ by Dylan Thomas to my daughter on Chritmas Eve – even last year when she was 24!

I can’t explain my love for that book – even now – it’s just magical & so lovely 🙂
I always read the Tailor Of Gloucester on Christmas Eve, it’s one of those traditions that’s built up ever since I was little.
