Weekending (and a winner!)

Posted on

It’s been a tiring week, not that I’ve actually done anything much, but ‘T’s lack of sleep is really begining to drain me now and I feel like a walking zombie these days. I keep telling myself that it’s a phase that will pass but it’s been over 3 months now!

Anyway, enough of the moaning! apart from the lack of sleep, this week I have also been:

Enjoying spending time with one of my nieces who came to stay (and taking her for her first quick driving lesson which was fun!)

Baking the first batch of mince pies – made with a shortbread pastry. YUM!

Knitting a face cloth, my first pattern and it’s nearly done without a dropped stitch (somehow!)

Enjoying the begining of Christmas festivities.

Struggling to enjoy the moment and needing to just slow down a bit

Listening to Christmas music

Enjoying the crisp, cold mornings.

Braving the stormy weather with ‘T’ in our waterproofs – just for the fun of it.

Loving my little girl. Oh so much, she’s just perfect.

Have you headed over to Handmade Monday yet to catch up with some crafty blogs?

It’s also time to announce the Winner from the Natural and Clean giveaway from last month….

Congratulations Isil!! www.random.org has randomly picked you as the winner of this fantastic trio of goodies from Natural and Clean!:
