Creamy mushroom & tarragon spaghetti bake recipe

This is a quick and easy dish, great for veggies and delicious too!


Olive oil (a splash)

Spaghetti (enough for 2-3)

1 xsmall pot single cream

2 x large mushrooms, roughly chopped

2 x cloves garlic – finely chopped

1 x onion – finely chopped

1 teaspoon tarragon

1 x cup grated cheese.

Salt and pepper to taste


Add the onionand oil to a pan and fry until soft/golden. In another pan, break up the spaghetti and cook until tender. Add in the mushrooms, garlic, cream, tarragon, salt and pepper and simmer for a few minutes.Ā  Once the spaghetti is cooked, add this to the mixture, transfer to a baking dish, top with the grated cheese , a bit more tarragon and bake in the oven until golden and crispy (approx 20 mins on 220C). Delicious!

  1. This looks lovely! I have only once tried a savoury sauce using cream(it was a tomato one I think)and I found it a bit too rich, but this pic has made we want to have another go! šŸ™‚
