Baking Bread

Since we got married in 2008 we have been baking bread at home (our bread-maker was a lovely wedding gift). There’s nothing quite like the smell of freshly baked bread to make the house smell lovely, plus it’s much more filling than shop-bought bread and I only add a tiny amount of sugar/salt  in ours so I know it’s the healthiest bread I can give my baby girl for sandwiches and soups.

  1. I love homemade bread! It is worth giving the Canadian bread flour a go from Waitrose, it gives an exceptional rise to the loaves! It’s the only flour we get now, I find it’s well worth the extra expense… the loaves come out HUGE! xxx
